From Advent 2024 onwards, Roman Catholics in England & Wales and Scotland will hear a new translation of the scripture readings at Mass, so everybody will need a new missal with the new readings. Known as the ESV-CE (English Standard Version - Catholic Edition), this is a more accurate translation of the original biblical languages and easier to proclaim.
