The finely hand-painted resin statuette depicts Saint Teresa of Ávila with her face upwards, leaning against a desk intent on writing with one hand and holding the crucifix with the other. In this representation, the Carmelite wears religious clothes in the chaste colors of white and brown, showing only her face and hands. This small 12 cm statue of St. Teresa of Ávila is accompanied by a paper bookmark dedicated precisely to the proponent of the Teresian Reform in the Carmelite Order; the front reproduces the image of the statuette, while the back features a prayer in Italian, English, Spanish and French.
